Sometimes I have these kind of days when I just don´t know what to wear. In this case, I always pull out the first item that catches my eyes when I open my closet. Then, based on this piece, I will start creating an outfit. In this case I grabed my printed silk shirt by the luxury brand Laurèl. Actually it is been a while since I have styled this shirt. It is a piece of art because it was painted by the husband of Elisabeth Schwaiger who is the head of design of this in Munich based fashion label. There, at Laurèl, I was a fashion intern for three months in 2014. It was a great experience for me to see how fashion design works in a exclusive and high-end luxury company.

Make a statement with a pair of glittery sneakers like I am wearing in the streetstyle photos above. Not too long ago, the thought of glitter-encrusted footwear called to mind images of Las Vegas party girls or strippers, but the image has changed. Nowadays they are cool, and not cheesy at all. You can absolutely work them into your everyday wardrobe without looking like a walking disco ball! Simply pair it with simple patterns and not too many and bright colors.
